Not sure if all my fellow glasses wearers do this, but I have a different routine for the days I wear mine. Now that I have refreshed my frames I wear them pretty religiously. Here is the breakdown of how I apply my make up with my specs.
1. Proactive Green Tea Moisturizer
2. True Match Foundation in Cool Alabaster
3. Fresh Minerals Loose Finishing Powder
4. Ulta Blush in Heartbreaker applied at temples to edge of cheek. Creating a "C" motion around outer corner of eyes
5. Great Lash Mascara in Blackest Black
6. Lime Crime lipstick in Great Pink Planet
It's all in the blush so do not be scared to apply it a little heavier!

Perfection. Your look amazing with blue hair! I haven't dyed my hair in so long. This makes me want to dye my hair blue again--ooo or purple! Yes. + your freckles are so cute! :D
ReplyDelete-People are like stained - glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.

You are adorable, and I LOVE your blue hair!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ladies! I have been having a lot of fun with it. xo
ReplyDeletevery pretty. How do you like the powder you are using? Have a yet to find a powder that doesnt get cakey as the day goes on.
ReplyDeleteI really like it! It's very similar to Bare Minerals Mineral Veil which is such a fine powder. I can re-apply this one, as needed, throughout the day without issue. It sort of fills in where needed and the excess just sort of fluffs off so be warned it can be a little on the messy side. Other than that I am quite fond! It is hard to find a good powder!
DeleteI LOVE seeing other people's makeup and routines! I have heard A LOT of bad things about Lime Crime, how do you like the application of that lipstick?

I have too... Honestly? Lime Crime is my FAVORITE brand of lipstick to date. I have extremely sensitive lips that tend to dry easily and most lipsticks contain products that dry my lips further causing them to turn red and irritated. Lime Crime is said to be vegan which I believe is part of the reason my lips favor so well to it, but mainly I believe it is due to the powder-iness (sorry making up words here!) of this lipstick. It feels as though it is just floating on top of my lips and not actually sinking into them. I like the application and do not find need of a lip brush. I do find it can come off a bit thick which is easily fixed with a couple tissue kisses! haha
Deletecool! I've heard people complaining about the powderiness, but I guess in your case it works. To each their own as always! :)
DeleteLove the last pic! Super cute

Your hair is amazing! Good practical post too - I often go to heavy on my eye makeup though and when I put my glasses on it hides more of my face - I'll try toning it down!

Ahh you are so pretty, Jessa!! I have a pink lime crime lipstick - not sure if it's the same color but I do love the shade! Although I'm rarely patient enough for lipstick. =)
ReplyDeleteThis post reminded me of my total makeup fail the other day... see, I have really, REALLY bad vision. And I wear contacts most of the time. But the other day my eye was irritated so I wore glasses and had to put on my makeup without being able to see. Definitely got a giant glob of mascara directly on my eyeball. Oops!!
