Style Confessions :: Neapolitan & Cream

With life changing on The Thousand Acres Woods it's only expected that we adjust.  I am no longer spending my weeks with my Grandmother which means I am -- at the moment -- home full time.  I am not sure if this will continue to be my situation but, for now, I am attempting to build a schedule that will allow me to adapt to whatever scenario is thrown my way.  The thought of going back to "work" is daunting I must admit, but I must be prepared to jump back into the nine to five swing, if so be it.  I know that, no matter what, I want to continue the blog and the shop.  This means I need to explore ways to allow myself to continue enjoying this little journey of Caked Vintage.

There will most likely be some changes here as I adjust.  Nothing major, just some little tweaks as I figure out what the heck I am doing with myself!  My plan is to feature more of my everyday style as getting dress is something you are typically required to do everyday no matter what position you hold.  At least, that is one prerequisite I have for potential job placement, so it's safe to say I will still be creating daily ensembles, which I hope to share almost daily.   So here is what I am wearing today...

♥ It's All in the Details ♥
Dress - ModCloth :: Neapolitan of your Dreams
Jacket - Thrifted
Shoes - M.I.A. from Marshall's
Belt - Thrifted
Floral Crown - c/o Bows, Bangles, & Bakes

Now if only I could figure out a way to get my alarm clock to physically shove me out of bed each morning!  Photos + No Coffee = One Grumbling Subject!  haha  I guess I will need to start calculating time allowance for coffee into my new schedule.  ::agh::  I am so not a morning person!

  12. What a cool dress! The back is especially interesting - love cool details like that. Also, I don't know if it's the sunlight or the effect of a filter, but your hair looks like it has a purple tint, which is super cool. =) You look lovely!

  13. Thank you Kelsea! I think my next hair color will be something a little bolder. The purple is so similar in hue to my natural color it's hard to even tell it's purple in some lights! haha I'm thinking pink maybe? I know you'd love that! xo

  14. Haha, you are very right about that! Definitely pink it! =P I think someday I will do a subtler purple tint like yours, which I really love. Maybe someday once I get tired of bleaching and dyeing my hair crazy colors (my visits to the salon take 5+ hours)... if that ever happens. =)
