One of my favorite times of year has to be when the county fair rolls into town, but not for the reasons one might think. Sure the shows are fun with events like destruction derby and full fledged rodeos who wouldn't be glued to their seat. Not to mention the rides or the quaint little prize booths filled with kitschy little stuffed pals.

Nope, it's none of those things! For me? It's the food! The fair is the only time of year where I can literally order anything deep fried.
Horrible I know, but I am a sucker for anything coated in batter then placed into a fry cooker! Lucky for my waist line the fair is only a three day event that happens once a year! My weekend goal is always to sample a little bit of every odd ball dish the fair has to offer. Never happens, but I always put in a good faith effort that always seems to consist of the same menu of treats. So much for being adventurous huh? Oh well, there is always next year!

I too love the food from the county fair--except I don't eat bad only 3 days out of the year. I only eat good for about 3 days outta the year...that would explain the major difference in our waist lines + Great outfit! I love your environment, it looks so peaceful :-p
