  1. Hi Jessa! I found your bog through evaelena vintage when I did a google search for "corningware collector." So glad I found you -- I LOVE your blog.

I've been trying to get some information on an orange Country Festival corning bowl that I thrifted. I can't seem to find another one like it anywhere! I was hoping you might know something about it. A pic is posted on my blog at:
    http://www.somethingtobefound.com/2012/05/lotta-lamps.html

It's in the 4th image down. You prob. cant see it in the picture but there's a little copyright that says "1975 Corning"

    Thanks for your help!!

    1. Hi Katie! Thank you so much!

Yes, I have been actively collecting Corning Ware for quite sometime now. My collection being the Cornflower as you already know. =D You seem to have quite the little rarity on your hands. The Country Festival collection is usually identified as being white then accented with the roosters and floral details as shown on your piece. It is quite interesting as typically I do not see patterns placed (especially in this collection) onto a colored surface except for the occasional stove top covers. Which your piece is obviously not... What is your piece made of?

    2. Hi! Thanks for your response :) It seems to be made of clay possibly? It sort of feels like pottery but I don't know for sure. And I can see brush strokes so the orange looks as though it was painted -- but not as if it was upcycled because the copyright imprint sits on top of the orange.

  2. Well, I absolutely LOVE S'mores and I love your nails. You did a great job.
Did you know that Three Olives Vodka has a s'mores flavored edition?? It's pretty much the best thing since French Toast. I serve it up at the bar a lot and everyone goes bananas over it. :)
