Angel Falls & Blackberry Hauls...

When we first introduced Christina & Wes to Angel Falls there was a lot of excitement from the boys as we approached so of the most spectacular swimming holes.  Christopher Robin & Wes joked that they were going to take their chances with us girls and stop the shoot in favor of a late afternoon swim.  Didn't happen, but both boys were a bit disappointed.   Christina & I decided to arrange another trip to cut loose and let the boys have their fun.

While we waited from them to arrive we scouted out the best places to find the wild blackberries we had sampled on our first visit.

♥ It's All in the Details ♥
Dress - Thrifted Forever 21
Belt - Vintage
Shoes - Jellypop

After receiving a text from a traffic delayed Christina & Wes we ventured over to the bushes to begin raiding the vines of their fruit.

The guys were such troopers as they ventured higher and higher into the thicket to capture only the best berries.

I had to snap a quick pic of our friend Jason's hands!  haha  The problem with berry picking?  You'll always be caught red handed!

Once we had collect all we could reach we headed back to the pools for some swimming and relaxing with our late arriving friends.

Where I took full advantage of being the class clown and get everyone laughing...

which at one point landed me (literally) in deep water dress and all!

It was quite refreshing I must say!  haha  It was the nicest way to beat the heat while gathering up the main ingredient for some upcoming treats!

  13. Oh, Jessa, a few things:
~ I absolutely adore how your hair matches your bow belt. That being said, I also am quite fond of that dress - beautiful!!
~ These pictures of fresh fruit just made me uber hungry. I am requiring a snack now and have commissioned Mikey to go on a hunt through his mom's pantry.
~ That picture of you falling into the water is awesome! Just awesome.
~ The berry hand print is also a lovely shot.

Love the "bring it" tattoo in one of the photos. I have wild blackberry bushes in my backyard and LOVE eating them. My tortoise loves to eat them, too.

I thought Jason's tattoo was all too appropriate being he was being attacked be the thorny stems shielding the berries! haha You are so lucky to have them right in your backyard! I don't know if I am more jealous of that fact or that you have a pet tortoise! Too cute! xo

  23. What awesome pictures!!! I'm so in love with your hair? I'm sure I've mentioned that a lot! And the "bring it" tattoo is pretty cool ;) I like that you got it in a picture with the berries.
