Lindsey has a special treat for us fit for a Countessa! Felt Bow Earrings & in my favorite color ever! I'll let Lindsey take it from here!
With most of my blog posts, I begin with an inspiration. I found the inspiration for these cute earrings in the form of the girl standing next to me in line at the Post Office. You never know when or where you will find something great!
This project is easiness. All you need are:
♥ 2 earring posts
♥ Round-nose pliers
♥ Some wire
♥ 2 pieces of felt at 1" x 1.5"
♥ 2 pieces of felt at 1" x 1/4"
♥ 2 dangling items of choice (pearls, lockets, hearts!)
1. Thread your needle and weave it through a
big piece of felt (hamburger style) five times
2. Pull the folds of the flet together to make crinkles.
Then hot glue the ends of a small piece of felt and
wrap it around the middle so that it creates the band.
3. Make a post and ring out of wire - about half an
inch long. on one side, attach the earring post.
4. After making two jump rings from wire and sliding them through the top and bottom of the band, attach the earring post. Then attach the dangling item of choice.
Repeat step 1-4 for the other earring!
There you go!
Thank you so much Lindsey for your visit here at CCC! Can't wait to see all the other beautiful ideas you come up with!
